KUCHING: Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak will hold its 2nd International Conference on Innovative Sciences and Technologies for Research and Education (InnoSTRE) 2022 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on October 26 and 27.

According to a statement, the conference aims to provide a platform for local and international participants from both academics and industries to present their authoritative knowledge and the most up-to-date research findings in innovative sciences and technologies. This is essential for the exchange of information and knowledge between academics and practitioners for service excellence.

The two-day hybrid conference features keynote lectures by experts. This conference is co-organised with Anhui Medical University, China, and Universitas Jambi (UNJA), Indonesia.

Premier Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari, the Patron of InnoSTRE2022 will officiate at the opening ceremony. Professor Dr. Roziah Mohd Janor, Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi MARA will deliver her welcoming speech during the opening ceremony.

This conference is supported by the state government, Business Events Sarawak, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), Asian-China Education & Culture Association (ACEC) Association.

In addition, many academic partners are also supporting this conference, including Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), Indonesia; Islamic University of Riau (UIR), Indonesia; Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), Thailand; and Teacher Education Institute of Malaysia, Batu Lintang (IPGKBL).

More than 140 papers will be presented by international and local participants over six parallel sessions. An International forum on “Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Innovations” will be organised in conjunction with the 2nd InnoSTRE2022.

This hybrid forum will gather seven panellists from Anhui Medical University, China, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Russia, University of Bath, United Kingdom, Macau University of Science and Technology, China, University of Hong Kong, Vitaiz Sdn Bhd, Malaysia and Eman Research Ltd, Australia. The panellists will present their knowledgeable insights about critical considerations of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical innovations.

The public are welcomed to enliven this hybrid international forum on October 26 2022, Wednesday, at 2pm to 6pm and a special walk-in rate of RM50 is offered for those who wish to join the physical event at BCCK, Kuching

The event includes an e-conference programme book and one-afternoon tea. InnoSTRE 2022 will be organised in a hybrid manner where day one it is a live event at BCCK with an estimated attendance of 250 physical participants and 1,000 virtual viewers.

Interested exhibitors are welcomed to exhibit their products or services during the events. All tracks on Day 1 and 2 will be accessible on a virtual platform via Zoom webinars.
