KUCHING: Two terrace houses caught fire today at Jalan Stampin, Kuching.
The incident happened around 4.50 pm.
The first house was sixty five per cent burnt while the other was twenty five per cent burnt.
A total of twenty four Bomba fighters lead by Senior Fire Officer II Berjaya Udin and Senior Fire Officer II Patrick Maong successfully put out the fire.
Present at the scene of the fire were Senior Fire Superintendent II Gregory Kurong Suwen (Zone 1 Officer), Deputy Fire Superintendent Di-Hata Gobel (Station Chief), Assistant Fire Superintendent Chong Bui Chyan (Zone Operation Officer), Assistant Fire Superintendent Mohd Adib Ibrahim (Senior Operational Commander Officer) and Leading Fire Officer Jankey Jikat (Station Operation Officer).
The police and Sarawak Energy personnel were also at the scene.
