MIRI: The upgrading works to expand four junctions along the Krokop main road have been completed.
With the completion, Miri Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang cum Pujut assemblyman believed that it would help ease the traffic flows in the area.
Yii disclosed this when met yesterday after inspecting the site.
He was accompanied by Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Krokop branch chief, Councillor Vincent Huang Huat Choon, and SUPP Pujut Youth chief Kevin Hii Shin Yang.
“I believe with the completion of these projects it helps mitigate the traffic flows along this area,” he said.
Yii also gave his assurance that funds would be allocated for some facelift works to ensure a smooth traffic flows in the city area.
