SIBU: Upgrading works will be carried out at Jalan Lapangan Terbang Baru Sibu KM18-KM19 and KM26-KM27 from Sept 1 to 30, said the Sarawak Public Works Department (PWD) Sibu.
The department, in a statement on Wednesday, said the upgrading work would commence from 10 am.
It involved milling and resurfacing work at Jalan Lapangan Terbang Baru Sibu KM18 – KM19 and top-up and resurfacing at Jalan Lapangan Terbang Baru Sibu KM26 – KM27.
Road users are advised to be careful when driving on the road during the repair works period and to comply with all traffic management for their safety.
“We will inform from time to time if there are any changes to the date, time, or area involved in these works. Road users are also advised to plan their journey in the affected area.
“We would like to apologise for any inconveniences caused,” said the statement.
