KUCHING: Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has made it clear that it does not release any statement on WhatsApp.
They said this in response to a message that was viralled on the messaging platform which used the corporation’s name to purportedly seek football players.
“Members of the public are urged to not spread any fake messages or information in order to avoid confusion.
“Any official statement will be only be conveyed through HDC portal and its social media platforms,” they said in a statement.
Earlier, a WhatsApp message was circulated suggesting that the corporation is looking for football players.
It also entailed that applicants would receive perks such as career opportunities in HDC when accepted.
