SARIKEI: Three suspected drug addicts including a woman were arrested during special operations conducted by the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) here last Friday.
The suspects, aged 20 to 30, were arrested in separate areas here after public tip-offs.
According to a spokesperson, all of them tested positive for methamphetamine.
“All suspects will be investigated under Section 3 (1) Drug Dependent (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983,” he said, adding that AADK required strong cooperation from the public in curbing the drug abuse issue.
The special operations involved ADDK Sarikei and Sarawak AADK Enforcement Unit.
