KUCHING: Sixty-five young entrepreneurs had the opportunity to share their thoughts as well as discuss Sarawak’s future and the new economy with Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg here on today (July 9).

The ‘Sunday Morning with Premier 2.0: Dialogue Session with Young Entrepreneurs on New Economy’ event was co-organised by DayakDaily and Pertubuhan Wartawan Bebas Kuching (Pewarta) and supported by the state government.

The dialogue session aimed to provide an avenue for professional and young Sarawakian entrepreneurs to engage in up-close and personal communication with the Premier while he shared his insights and visions with the future leaders of Sarawak.

It also served as an opportunity for the participants to network, exchange knowledge, and explore potential collaborations among themselves as well as with representatives from government ministries and agencies.

The participants, all of whom were below 35 years of age, were those who have demonstrated remarkable leadership and innovation in their respective fields, representing a diverse range of industries, including agriculture, new energy, and digitalisation.
