MIRI: The Sarawak Career and Training (SCaT) Fair 2023 concluded its two-day event here, attracting over 10,000 attendees.

The fair, organised by Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS), received robust support from government bodies, educational institutions, and the public.

Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts, Datuk Snowdan Lawan, officiated at the closing ceremony on Sunday.

“Established in 2012, TEGAS shoulders a significant responsibility in raising awareness and nurturing the talents of young Sarawakians, particularly in digital technology and STEM education, to realise the vision and mission of our Premier,” Snowdan said.

During the ceremony, he presented awards to students who participated in and won various contests at the SCaT Fair, with TEGAS’s acting CEO, Manzoor Hayat Khan, in present.
