“Kuching recorded the most with six compounds issued, followed by Padawan and Sarikei with two compounds each, and one compound each in Kota Samarahan and Betong,” said Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).

On the SOP compliance monitoring, the patrol teams inspected 1,627 premises throughout Sarawak.

These include 307 restaurants, supermarkets (176), banks (109), public markets (74), places of worship (68), hawker stalls (67), government offices (54), leisure places (44), construction sites (24), factories (16), and others (688).

SDMC also informed that 1,164 vehicles were inspected in six “Ops Benteng” roadblocks in five districts — two in Lundu with one each in Bau, Serian, Sri Aman, and Lubok Antu.
