“In line with this, we also have many students in our area who have succeeded in furthering their studies at the university and many had successfully graduated.

“In addition, the construction of economic infrastructure has assisted small entrepreneurs in areas such as Kampung Boyan and Kampung Gersik as well as in Telaga Air,” he said.

Dr Abdul Rahman, who is the Assistant Minister of Utilities (Water Supply), pointed out that his constituency would always strive to provide the best services to the people, especially in the aspects of welfare and development.

“The main initiative of the GPS government is to develop important infrastructure such as coastal roads and second trunk roads; construction of bridges; improve utility facilities such as electricity and water to all households; special assistance to the people and many more.

“This is to ensure that the livelihood of the people could be improved for the better,” he said.
