MIRI: Nearly 20 participants attended a one-day seminar on human resource development (HRD) as a strategic partner in the 21st century yesterday at IBS College.

The seminar, which was in its second edition, was the result of a collaboration between IBS College and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas).

The speaker for that day was Heng Chin Siong, who is a lecturer from Unimas.

He explained that the two-hour seminar aimed to share on how participants could utilise HRD strategic functions within an organisation.

The programme’s duration is 24 months and all teaching and learning activities are conducted during weekends.

Course fees are at RM21,272 for Malaysians and RM28,372 for international students, which could be paid in instalments.
