KUCHING: In a bid to empower and educate today’s youth, Learning Hub by Hope Place recently organised a transformative workshop known as No Apologies®.

The event attracted 20 youth aged 12 to 17.

“Held at the Learning Hub by Hope Place, this workshop’s primary objective was to equip young individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed and responsible choices, especially concerning high-risk behaviours such as sexual involvement before marriage,” it said through a statement yesterday.

No Apologies® is a character-based abstinence curriculum conducted by certified facilitators who guide young people towards making wise decisions in their lives.

“This curriculum is thoughtfully designed to address critical topics related to life, love, and sex, emphasising a holistic understanding that extends beyond the physical aspects of relationships,” said the statement.

It added through the engaging discussions, activities and the guidance of experienced facilitators, workshop attendees left with a deeper understanding of themselves, their values and the world around them.

The commitment demonstrated by the young participants also served as a powerful reminder of the profound impact that education and open discussions could have in shaping future generations.

“As the workshop concluded, it became evident that the event’s impact would resonate with these young participants for years to come. It underlined the significance of informed decision-making, character development and responsible choices in their lives,” added the statement.
