School Uniform Assistance 2020

SIBU: Yayasan Sarawak’s School Uniform Assistance 2020 will benefit 26,175 students, involving a cost of RM5,235,000.

Yayasan Sarawak director Azmi Bujang said that the assistance vouchers for uniforms had been distributed to all Resident’s Offices throughout Sarawak.

He said the programme, started in 2001, supplies school uniforms including shoes and bags to recipient students.

“In 2017, the allocation was increased by RM4 million with a grant of RM200 per person. Implementation of the Assistance was enhanced by the usage of vouchers,” he explained.
