KUCHING: A total 30 flood victims in Kampung Bijuray, Bau were moved to a temporary relief centre following heavy rain yesterday.
According to a statement from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department Operations Centre, the flood victims who were from seven families, were housed at the Kampung Bijuray hall as of 7.40 pm tonight.
Twenty-seven houses had been inundated under a foot of water, he said. Nevertheless, the flood water was receding, he added. – Bernama
