The Health Ministry (MOH) has recorded a total of 45 deaths due to dengue fever, with a cumulative total of 63,966 cases of the fever from January to mid-July this year.
Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa stated that this number indicates a significant increase compared to the same period last year, with a rise of 136.8 percent in the death toll and an increase of 129.2 percent in cumulative cases.
