MIRI: A total of 564 dogs here have been vaccinated against rabies as part of the mass vaccination campaign until March 8.

Senadin assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin said this initiative is essential in curbing the spread of rabies and other infectious diseases within the canine population.

“Engaging in such initiatives is vital for maintaining a healthy and safe environment for everyone,” he said during the third rabies vaccination event held at Dato Permaisuri Hall in Permyjaya on Saturday.

He added that local authorities are committed to maximising vaccination coverage among dogs.
