80 teachers partake in leadership course, workshop

MUKAH: Eighty teachers from the division partook in   Leadership Course and Professionalism Improvement Workshop 2017 over the weekend.

This knowledge-enrichment programme was organised by Sarawak Teachers’ Union(STU) Mukah Branch at Kingwood Hotel, here.

Meant for the members of  STU Mukah, the speaker of the half-day workshop was SMK Meradong Principal, Vincent Liong.

Its objective was to expose the participating teachers with the `Teaching of the 21st Century ‘.

And at the same time, the event also touched on how to handle  stress while enjoying the teaching task,  teaching beyond the classroom activity and also pedagogy or approach  of the teaching of this century.

Also present at the programme were  Central STU Executive Officer  Richard Liaw, STU Mukah Chairman Halfeez Abdullah and members of the local STU branch.
