KUCHING: Magnum Group yesterday organised Charity Kids Art and Bento Workshop and Charity Zumba Fitness Event at CityOne Exhibition Centre, Level 1, to raise fun for its’ “ I Can See Clearly Now” Campaign.
The campaign was initiated by Magnum Group employees to bring awareness of the importance of eye care amongst young children.
Since 2012, this is the seventh year that Magnum employees are carrying out a series of activities to raise funds and fulfil the pledge to provide the deserving students/children with a pair of spectacles to improve their vision.
The Charity Zumba Fitness Event held from 3.30om to 5pm yesterday was participated by 150 participants whereas the Charity Kids Art and Bento Workshop held from 10am-2.30pm were participated by 20 participants.
The campaign targetted to raise a sum of RM20,000 for the purchase of 450 spectacles which will be distributed throughout Sarawak namely in Bau, Sri Aman, Bintulu, Miri, Sibu and Kuching.
