“I sympathise with him and his family as he is also a pensioner,” said Johari.

“I sympathise with him and his family as he is also a pensioner. “

The Chief Minister added he would seek the help of an architect to build a new house for Yetni; the house was expected to be ready before Hari Raya.

Yetni was a comedian in RTM. Before that, he was a politician.

He said he was at home performing Isyak prayers alone in his room when his grandchild shouted to him that the house was on fire.

“The fire occurred at almost 9pm. Once my grandchild called, I immediately ran out without being able to save anything,” he explained to the media, adding that short circuit was the cause of the fire.

Also present during the visit were Petra Jaya MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Law, State-Federal Relations and Project Monitoring Assistant Minister and Samariang assemblywoman Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali.
