KUCHING: Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) at Damai Central is improving its pathways and WiFi connection for the upcoming Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF).

As part of the facelift, there is a new concrete pavement with Sarawak designs at the entrance of SCV.

Wooden paths have been replaced by pavements to ensure visitors’ safety at the village while better WiFi connection will be provided by Sacofa Sdn Bhd.

At last year’s RWMF, many foreign visitors and media organisations and journalists complained about the slow WiFi connections and urged the government to improve them.

This year, visitors will only need to register themselves to connect to the WiFi; while visiting not only RWMF but also the village, they can share their experiences on the go.

RWMF 2019 takes place from July 12 -14.
