Abang Johari to grace Trienekens gala dinner

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call by a delegation from Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia, here yesterday.

The delegation led by Trienekens group chief executive officer Stephen Chin included the company’s group deputy CEO Elvin Wee; Environment R&D division manager Dayang Sherrynazra Awang Sharkawi and Corporate Communications division manager Julan Yu Abit.

The visit was to brief the chief minister on the company’s 20th anniversary gala dinner at which he had earlier accepted to be the guest-of-honour. The event is slated to be held in August at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).

This year marks Trienekens’ 20th year as a leading environmental and waste management company in the state. Besides the corporate gala dinner, the company will be commemorating the occasion with a number of educational and promotional events throughout this year including various inter-schools competitions, corporate seminar as well as several events for its employees and contractors.

Also present during the courtesy call was deputy state secretary Datuk Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.
