SEBUYAU: The parent-teacher associations (PTA) in Sebuyau constituency will continue to receive assistance, said Utility and Telecommunication Minister Datuk Julaihi Narawi.
According to him, 19 primary school PTAs and one secondary school (SMK Sebuyau) will continue to be assisted with annual grants.
“A sum of RM10,000 is allocated each for 19 primary schools while RM30,000 is allocated for SMK Sebuyau.
“This grant aims to help PTAs to carry out academic and co-curricular activities throughout the year 2023,” he said in a Facebook post after attending the Khatam Al-Quran programme held at SK Haji Bujang Sebangan, recently.
Julaihi, who is also Sebuyau assemblyman, added that grants worth RM30,000 each for Majlis Guru Besar Sebangan and Sebuyau Zone were also approved to implement activities and programmes throughout the year.
At the event, he also approved a special grant of RM50,000 for SK Haji Bujang Sebangan PTA.
