All Hock Seng Lee workers have been vaccinated

Date:

KUCHING: All Hock Seng Lee Group (HSL) employees in La Promenade Mall and HSL Tower have been vaccinated through a combination of the Essential Economic Sectors Programme and National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

HSL moved into its new headquarters along the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway, adjoining the mall, in July last year.

An admin manager of La Promenade, Shirley Loo said every HSL employee, including mall security and the staff cafeteria crew, had been vaccinated.

“Some had been vaccinated through PICK, others opted for the AstraZeneca vaccine but for everyone who didn’t receive a vaccine appointment by last Friday, HSL registered them under the Essential Economic Sectors Programme,” she said.

“On June 29, almost 700 HSL employees from Kuching received their first vaccine dose under the economic programme which is fully paid by the company.”

“We want to thank HSL’s Human Resources Department for promoting the benefits of vaccination, ensuring we were all registered under PICK and for coordinating the Essential Economic Sectors Vaccination Programme for quicker vaccination,” she added.

Loo further stated that new tenants such as an art gallery department and home improvement stores would be joining La Promenade Mall soon.

The mall is open daily with free car parking and electrical car charging. Tenants include shops such as NOMS, Hock King Authentic Chicken Rice, Rice King, Black Bean Coffee & Tea, Taka Patisserie, Choice Supermarket and Sweat Factory and a functional fitness centre.
