KUCHING: An angler suffered serious injuries after he was hit by a car around 6.30 pm at Telaga air on Thursday.
The youth was with two of his friends who had arrived near the roadside to fish.
As they were parking their motorcycles, a Kenari driver lost control and rammed into them in the freak accident.
The victim was flung a few metres away and was badly injured in a pool of blood. His two friends managed to jump out of the way.
An ambulance rushed the youth to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) where he was placed in the red zone. All the three motorcycles were damaged in the mishap.
