KUCHING: Hope Place yesterday received an urgent call for help from Anjung Singgah.

It pertained to Ronie ak Lampun, 37, who was  suffering from dengue fever. She is the wife of 39-year-old Huang Yeou Yang

The couple and four of their children aged between 12 and 19 years old are currently putting up at Anjung Singgah. An elder daughter is already married and staying in Sibu.

Having not enough money and with no means, all the four children are not sent to school and are currently jobless just like their parents.

“I am trying hard to find a job but till now to no avail. We don’t ask for anything more than three meals a day and hopefully to get a job,” said Huang.

Hope Place has been informed that a few weeks ago, Ronie’s lost her handbag to snatch thief when coming back from the Sarawak General Hospital. Kept inside the bag were all their identification documents such as Identity Cards and the birth certificates of the children. Huang managed to make police report about the loss but had no money to pay for bus fare in making new documents to the National Registration Department.
