SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii yesterday visited a patient known only as Ling, 20, in their house at Tung Yee Road here.
Ling broke both her legs in a road accident at Jalan Durian here about two months ago.
After the accident, Huang provided a helicopter to bring Ling to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for immediate
treatment.
Yesterday, Huang together with an entourage from the Repok Service Centre visited Ling to check on her condition. Ling has since been discharged from hospital and recuperating at home.
Huang had also donated a hospital bed to make it more comfortable for Ling.
Ling’s parents expressed their gratitude to Huang for his swift actions to save their daughter’s life.
