BINTULU: Persatuan Anaq Vaie Bintulu (PAVB) will support any organisation with the same goal of ensuring children in the community are not marginalised in the process of development.

PAVB president Pandi Suhaili emphasised that with the participation of many Vaie children, the voice of ‘Vaie’ will be heard more by the relevant parties.

He, however, advised the groups, especially the youth, not to be easily influenced by the propaganda of other parties that try to divide the community.

Speaking at the PAVB’s 12th Anniversary Dinner at Hotel Margherita Plaza here last night, Pandi invited Vaie children to strengthen their brotherhood.

Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, Deputy Chairman of the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) and PAVB Adviser Datuk Haidar Khan Asghar Khan, Bintulu GPS candidate Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, as well as PAVB supreme council members, community leaders, Jepak, Samalaju, Tanjung Batu, Kidurong Malay associations, members of martial arts organisations, association members, mosque chairmen and Village Development and Security Committee chairmen (JKKK) attended the event.
