ATI College delegation explores collaboration opportunities with Curtin Malaysia

MIRI: A delegation from ATI College in Kota Kinabalu paid a courtesy visit to Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) on Tuesday (Jan 16) to explore opportunities for collaboration with Curtin University’s largest global campus, which is located in Miri.

The delegation was led by executive chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Wong Khen Thau, accompanied by deputy chief executive officer Jerome James Willie and registrar Mable Cheong.

On hand to receive them were Curtin Malaysia pro vice-chancellor, president and chief executive Professor Simon Leunig; deputy pro vice-chancellor Professor Vincent Lee; Faculty of Business dean Professor Pauline Ho; and Future Students and External Engagement director Debora Caroline.

During their meeting, Prof Leunig provided a brief introduction to Curtin Malaysia and updated the delegation on its latest achievements in academia, research and partnerships.

Wong expressed his excitement about the possibility of collaborating with Curtin Malaysia in delivering Curtin Master of International Business at ATI College.

He also showed interest in introducing Curtin Malaysia’s degree programmes at ATI College, allowing the college’s diploma students to seamlessly progress to degree programmes at Curtin Malaysia.

Beyond the discussions, the delegation enjoyed a tour of the Curtin Malaysia campus, which at 1200 acres is one of the largest foreign branch campuses in Malaysia.
