Viral threats of nude photos; Miss Juliet finds Mr Romeo none too romantic

MIRI: William Shakespeare in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ had this to say about love: “If love be blind, love cannot hit the mark.”

In essence Shakespeare was saying love is not blind but that it can lead to blindness.

This may not be the whole truth but a young woman here surely sees the whole truth in this line by the English poet and playwright. Love certainly has blinded her for trusting her boyfriend too much.

For this seems to be the root cause of the young woman’s predicament, which saw her going to the police station for help.

According to sources, she went to the police to file a report against her boyfriend who threatened to expose her nude photographs on social media.

The same sources said the boyfriend became outraged after the complainant asked him about RM300 that went missing from her bank account.

The complainant had discovered the cash missing last Wednesday afternoon and confronted her boyfriend, who was in possession of the complainant’s bank card, about it.

However, the boyfriend denied having withdrawn the money.

When she pointed out to him that he was in possession of her bank card, he became angry and threatened to upload the complainant’s nude photographs on social media.
