KUCHING: The Borneo Music Festival 2022 kickstarts with a bang after two years of delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even though its first day started with heavy rain at the Sarawak Culture Village, it did not deter visitors from enjoying the festival.

Visitors from all over Sarawak and West Malaysia, came as early as noon to enjoy the music performed by artistes around the world to showcase their talent.

The event kicked off with an opening act from DJ Paul while the main event for the first day is none other than DJ Soda who performed her mix seamlessly that made visitors danced non-stop through the evening.

Dozens of scrumptious food and beverage vendors besides tattoo and henna tattoo vendors, craft vendors, and dance workshops were available to visitors .

The Borneo Music Festival 2022 held for the first time ever, showcasing some of the most well known artistes from Sarawak and of course, deejays from six countries across the world.

The international music festival will be held for two days with an expected turnout of around 15,000 visitors.
