A construction project that includes five sites with two sites for the use of hospital residents while the other three for the public is under the Tanjong Batu State Assemblyman’s Rural Transformation Project (RTP) is now nearing completion.

Tanjong Batu assemblyman, Johnny Pang Leong Ming said four of the five temporary car parking spaces, two each are for the use of Bintulu Hospital staff while the other two for the public will be opened in the near future after the plots have been painted.

According to him, the temporary parking space is expected to be able to accommodate up to 150 cars at a time.

“I will continue to monitor and ensure that the construction work can be completed as soon as possible with more parking spaces so that the problem of lack of parking faced by patients and visitors can be overcome,” he said when met after holding a surprise survey of the progress of the construction of the parking lots at the Bintulu Hospital, yesterday.
