MIRI: A cat stuck in a storm drain this morning (Sept 17) was saved by the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM).
The APM said that they were alerted about a cat trapped in a 10-feet deep drain at Jalan Acacia 5, Shang Garden.
A 28-year-old man walking by the area heard the cat’s cries around 11.30 am and quickly called the APM for help.
A member of the APM team went down into the drain and rescued the cat in under 10 minutes. After the rescue, the cat was returned to its owner, who lives nearby.
