Colouring contest attracts 46 children

KUCHING : Forty six children aged 4 to 9  participated in the Kids Colouring Contest yesterday at Food Haven, The Hills here.

Both first prize winner Herbert Anak Sulin, 9, and second prize winner Adelia Jade Hoo,  5,  received an RM80 hamper and a certificate of participation each.

Third prize winner Nur Damia Qaleesya, 9, went home with a RM50 hamper and a certificate of participation.

The other participants received a certificate of participation and a consolation prize each.

Children aged from 4 years to 9 years old taking part in the colouring contest this morning at The Hills.

According to the Food Court manager Le Van Houtten, the colouring contest was the first event organised by the Food Haven and The Hills management since the opening of the food court in December.

“We wanted the kids to have a good time colouring, and also promote Food Haven to the public,” added Houtten.

He said more events would be held to promote Food Haven and The Hills to the public.

The Kids Colouring Contest began at 10.30 am and wrapped up with the prize giving ceremony at 12 pm.
