Companies win bid to construct hall, futsal court in Taman Sri Permai

KUCHING: Two projects at Taman Sri Permai, RPR Landeh Mile 10 were handed over to the two companies who won the bid.

Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang was on hand today to witness the project handover to Syarikat Permai Cahaya, represented by Abang Suadi Irfan and Wija Construction Sdn Bhd, represented by Azfairul Jawawi.

Syarikat Permai Cahaya will continue Phase 2 of the hall construction while Wija Construction Sdn Bhd will begin construction on the futsal court.

The hall construction cost over RM100,000 and schedule for completion in 16 weeks while the futsal court cost over RM200,000 and scheduled for completion in 24 weeks.

“Once the facilities are built, I hope the residents here, especially the children, will use the facilities properly. Don’t vandalise them.

“We are also planning to build a car park to make it easier for people to park their cars whenever there’s an event in the area,” said Lo.

He reminded the contractors to make sure they do the work professionally. “We will fully support contractors who really do their job and do it well.”
