Contest winners receive prizes

SIBU: Jason Ling Rong Wei was announced as the top winner of Covid-19 Sibu 2020 Competition here on Tuesday (Nov 10).

First runner-up and second runner-up spots went to Tang Siew Lee and Hii Jia Shin respectively, while in fourth place was Cristiano Leonardo and Chieng Ley Fong was placed fifth.

The presentation of prizes to the winners was held at the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) Office at Wisma Sanyan here. Councillor Zaiton Abdul Kader was given the honour to officiate at the event.

Among the main purpose of this competition was to inculcate a new culture and self-control of Malaysians in curbing the spread of Covid-19.

It also symbolised the support and agreement of Malaysians in facing the coronavirus.

Also present were SMC deputy chairman Bujang Zainudin Abdul Majid and Councillor Andy Ting.
