KUALA LUMPUR: Police recorded the statement of Kepala Batas MP Dr Siti Mastura Muhammad today following her speech which allegedly slandered DAP leaders.
Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain said the investigation was conducted by the Classified Crime Investigation Unit under Section 505 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
“The people are advised not to make speculations as they could affect ongoing investigations,” he said in statement here last night.
In a video recording with a duration of 46 minutes and 51 seconds, Siti Mastura in a political ceramah in Kemaman, Terengganu, alleged DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang, who is also the father of Lim Guan Eng as a cousin of communist leader Chin Peng. – BERNAMA
