KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received two courtesy visits at Baitulmakmur Building I here today.

The first visit was from a Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad delegation led by its chief executive officer Ruslan Abdul Ghani and accompanied by former chairman Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias.

During the session, Bintulu Port also handed over its business zakat amounting to RM2.2 million to the Islamic Council of Sarawak (MIS) chairman Datuk Misnu Taha.

Later, the Premier received a courtesy visit from the Islamic Welfare Organisation of Malaysia (PERKIM) secretary general Tan Sri Dr Mohd Yusof Noor.

The visit was to discuss matters related to Islamic welfare.
