KUCHING: Democratic Action Party (DAP) Kuching branch will be holding a fundraising dinner on March 19.
DAP Socialist Youth (DAPSY) Kuching chief George Lam said the dinner themed “Change We Must, Kita Boleh” will be held at Grand Riverine Ballroom here.
“The aim of the dinner is to update the people about the political landscape in Sarawak, Sabah and West Malaysia,” he said on Wednesday.
“The guest of honour during the dinner will be Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Teo Nie Ching, with Sabah Industry and Corporate Development Minister Phoong Jin Zhe, DAP Sarawak chairman Chong Chieng Jen, Mas Gading MP Mordi Bimol, Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong and Bandar Kuching MP Kelvin Yii also making an appearance on the night.
“They will be there to share their experience in forming the government and let people know the future plan of DAP Sarawak.”

In another development, Lam mentioned that DAP Kuching and DAPSY Kuching will be participating in the parade organised by Hong San Si Temple at Wayang Street on March 13 at 5.30pm.
