The North Kuching City Hall (DBKU) issued a notice stating the council is serious in investigating the death of about 40 pigeons at Kuching Waterfront.
For the safety of the public, DBKU has cordoned off a section of the waterfront and has put up safety tape.
The public are encouraged to help the council to be the eyes and ears to tackle any acts of vandalism.
The pigeons were found dead by members of the public along the section of the waterfront on August 2.
