Deputy minister donates RM98k for Aidiladha

KUCHING: Four mosques, seven suraus and three schools in three state constituencies received a total of RM98,000 in grant from Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Chong Chieng Jen. 

The three state constituencies are Batu Kitang, Batu Kawah and Stakan.

The recipients in Batu Kawah are Masjid Darul Ehsan Kpg Haji Baki (RM7,000), Masjid Nurul Ashikin Kpg Lidah Tanah (RM7,000), Surau Darul Taqwa Kpg Sandong (RM7,000), Surau Nurul Jamek Kpg Batu Kitang (RM7,000), Surau Nurul Ibadah Kpg Bukit Panchor (RM7,000), Surau Nur Iman Taman Sri RPR Landeh (RM7,000) and PIBG SK Batu Kitang (RM7,000).

In Batu Kawah the recipients are Masjid Darul Ibadah Batu Kawah (RM7,000) and Masjid Darul Sakinah Kpg Sinar Budi (RM7,000).

The recipients in Stakan state seats are Surau Darul Taqwa Kpg Stakan Melayu (RM7,000), Surau Darul Ibadah Kpg Pengkalan Kuap (RM7,000), Surau Darul Iman Taman Samarindah (RM7,000), SK Niup (RM7,000) and SK Muara Tuang (RM7,000).

Chong’s special assistant Abdul Aziz Isa said the grants given are meant to buy cows in conjunction with Aidiladha on Aug 11.
