BINTULU: Resident Nyurak Ketihas has reminded civil servants to stay disciplined and committed to carrying out tasks assigned to them.
He said they should also have a broad knowledge base plus diversified skills and not only focus on one field.

According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) on Monday (Feb 27), Nyurak also stressed that the conduct and personal attributes of civil servants must also be at optimum levels at all times.

“We need to find a way together to improve our weaknesses so that we can perform tasks well and with full dedication.

“Cooperation should also be improved to create a strong team especially to strengthen the administration of the Bintulu division,” he said during the handing over of Bintulu Deputy Resident duties at his office here.

During the ceremony, Hussaini Hakim handed over duties as Bintulu Deputy Resident to Abang Zainudin Abang Turkey.

Nyurak expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Hussaini for his cooperation throughout his service as deputy resident.
