KUCHING: About 200 people attended the TEDx Kenyalang: Shine For Others 2019 held at Waterfront Hotel yesterday.

Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah officiated at the event.

This is the fourth edition of TEDx Kenyalang where platforms for great dialogues and interactions are created as it seeks to inspire and encourage others, especially the youth to dream big and have impactful visions.

Twelve speakers were featured — Dona Drury Wee, Jarod Yong, Fiona Marcus Raja and Sue Walker talked on “Life and Inspiration” while Al Ishsal Ishak, Uzz Taufek, Ar Safri Mohammed and Afnan Rosli talked on “Technology and Future”.

Allison Morris, Khairul Rusydi, Purvi Tantia and Saufi Aiman talked on “Biz and Innovation”.

TEDx Kenyalang was brought by Koperasi Belia Inovatif Sarawak (Kobis) with the support of the Youth and Sports Ministry and many more partners in conjunction with World TEDx Youth Weekend celebration, which occurs every third week of November.
