Dutch tourist injured during rock caving

MIRI: A 30-year-old foreign tourist from the Netherlands injured her head while rock caving in Gua Lang, Mulu on Friday.

Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Operation centre said the victim identified as Domonique Martina Wilhelmina has been brought to Mulu National Park Health clinic for treatment by a team of Mountain Cave Search and Rescue (MOCSAR).

The incident was reported to have happened at around 4 pm that day.

It was made to understand that the victim received an outpatient treatment and has been sent to her hotel accommodation in Mulu Marriot Resort Spa.
