KUCHING: In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, Trienekens has announced that waste collection services for all areas under the jurisdiction of the Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) with Friday collection schedule willl be carried out one day earlier (April 20).

It said that this included some selected areas under the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) and Padawan Municipal Council (MPP).

“There will be no collection on the first day of Hari Raya for the said areas.

“Should the first day of Hari Raya falls on Saturday instead of Friday, areas with Saturday collection schedule will also be serviced one day earlier on April 21.”

On another note, its department manager for logistics operations, Mason Barau stated that collection services were brought forward a day earlier during this period to ensure that the areas are serviced efficiently before the start of Hari Raya.

“Therefore, we would like to remind the residents to push out their wheel bins early to prevent missed collection. Before that, please ensure that the waste is packed properly to prevent spillage, as this can help ease the collection process.”
