KUCHING: Eleven longhouses will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO), said the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today (May 29).
It stated that the EMCO will be enforced on two longhouses in Tatau Rumah Semangat Bubon, Ng Dia, Sangan as well as Rumah Kanyan Abok, Sg Penyarai, Kakus; and Rumah Agusti Kampung Keropok, Lingga in Sri Aman.
“The EMCO in these three longhouses started on Friday (May 28) and will last until June 10,” it said.
Two longhouses in Saratok namely Rumah Sambang, Babang as well as Rumah Tama, Nanga Melupa will be enforced Saturday (May 19) until Jun 11; Rumah Igar Bukit Tungku, Engkelili in Lubok Antu (May 29 until June 11); Rumah Daisy, Skim B, Bintangor in Meradong (May 29 until June 14); and Rumah Garai Sg Minus Jakar (May 29 until June 14).
Whereby, the EMCO at three longhouses in Mukah namely Rumah Rimong anak Kilat; Rumah Asin Aji; and Rumah Bija Unggang will start from May 30 until June 12.
“In line with this, two longhouses in Sri Aman had extended its EMCO until June 10 namely Rumah Noel Kampung Aping Dadak, Pantu; and Rumah Agal Panggil Angkong,” it added.
It also declared that as of today, the EMCO at two longhouses in Saratok which are Rumah Entinggi, Nangga Ingu Kabo Krian as well as Rumah Engkabi, Tingkat Seblak; Block F and O RPR, Bandaria Park in Bintulu; and Rumah Janang, Sungai Wong in Pakan have finally been lifted.
