KUCHING: Polytechnic Kuching Sarawak is committed to ensure the marketability of the graduates in efforts to make sure they fulfil the demand of the job market.
That being said, recently Polytechnic organised the Career Guidance Programme in efforts to assist the students to get more information on the career they wanted to pursue after they finish their studies.
“The programme is seen as its strategic efforts to help the students while giving a chance for the future employers to promote their company apart from making sure the vacancies within the company can be fulfilled,” it said in a press release.
The programme is also seen as a great collaboration in which it gives an impact towards the students in planning and identifying a suitable career with their academic qualification.
“Through this programme, it is hoped that it can produce some quality graduates while improving its marketability after they are done with their studies,” it added.
The programme, which was held on April 6 at Perak Jubilee Hall involved 343 students that will undergo practical training from the Engineering Department.
