KUCHING: Utama Toastmasters Club here will be organising a Guest Night on Feb 29 as part of its ongoing effort to spearhead communication and leadership skills development initiatives for the benefit of the populace.

Its president Teo Soo Loon welcomes individuals who are keen to hone their communication or public speaking and leadership skills.

He added that the Guest Night at 7.30 pm would be held in Room A306, i-CATS University College, Jalan Stampin Timur, here and light refreshments would be served.

“This will be a wonderful opportunity for members of the community (the general public) to learn about Toastmasters and the opportunities available for one to take that all-important first step to enhance his or her communication and leadership skills.

“Our guests will also be able to experience first-hand a Toastmasters meeting – our meetings are built around three elements, namely prepared speeches, impromptu speeches (Table Topics®), and speech evaluations,” he said in a statement.
