KUCHING: The cycling event in conjunction with the 21st Malaysia Games (SUKMA) will take place at the Pehin Sri Adenan Satem Highway (FAC Highway), which has been designated as the official venue for the event.
As reported by UKAS, the event is slated to kick off from Aug 14 to 22, starting at Politeknik Kuching Sarawak (PKS).
The cycling event will feature 400 athletes and coaches from their respective states.
A visit session was also held yesterday (Mar 19) with the relevant agencies to discuss preparations for the event.
“This is crucial to ensure that competition preparations, proposed security personnel, and required technical needs are prepared well in advance to facilitate the event on the day of competition,” UKAS said.
Meanwhile, SUKMA is set to take place across the state from Aug 17 to 24.
