KUCHING: The public is urged to exercise caution following reports of an Islamic investment scheme falsely using the photo of Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki in its advertisement.
Abu Bakar himself clarified that the scheme is fraudulent and warned against falling victim to it.
“My picture has been misused, and the public should not be deceived by this scheme,” he said.
Abu Bakar said he has taken legal action by filing a police report regarding the matter to prevent further deception.
