KUCHING: Sarawak Federal Secretary Mohd Shahabuddin Omar inspected several government premises at the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) Kuching on Wednesday (June 17) and was satisfied with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) compliance in all the premises.

The implementation of the SOPs was to apply the concept of 3W (wash, wear, and warn) and to ensure that the public avoid the 3C (crowded places, confined spaces, and close conversation) at their premises.

The visit was also aimed at inspecting the smooth operation of the federal government premises which offer their services at UTC Kuching.

This is in line with the directives of the Chief Secretary to the Government on working culture in the public service during the recovery movement control order (RMCO), whereby all government services have been instructed to operate fully throughout the RMCO period enforced from June 10 to August 31.

Shahabuddin visited various premises of government departments and agencies, including UTC Health Clinic, National Registration Department (JPN), Malaysian Immigration Department, Road Transport Department (JPJ), and the Public Complaints Bureau.
